a queer-owned compost co-op here in cincinnati! since our humble beginnings in 2020, we have grown to over 400 residential members and 40 commercial customers to divert more than 1.5 million pounds of food from the landfill. we work with local farms and gardens to create nutrient-rich compost to amend our soils. how it works: households collect their food scraps and bring them to their chosen community drop-off site! we have bins all over the city, as well as in covington, ky. from there, qcc collects the scraps weekly/bi-weekly to bring to our farm partners! they create compost for their crops to grow more healthy food. we offer compost give back to our residential members, meaning once a year you get a free bag of finished compost for your garden or house plants. we also offer commercial service, where we bring bins to your business and collect on-site! sign up for a residential plan through the link below! support a queer, local business and start composting today!!
