You’ll learn how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together to create properly exposed photos, as well as how to use composition and lighting to tell a story. We’ll also practice posing and directing subjects naturally, making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and developing your own creative style. Whether you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless, or your phone, you’ll leave with the confidence to capture genuine, meaningful moments and a solid understanding of how to bring your creative vision to life.
About Caitlin Chrisenee Photo
Caitlin Chrisenee is a Cincinnati-based photographer who has spent more than half her life behind the camera. A passion that started when she realized she could encapsulate her little brother's personality within a photo over 15 years ago. It’s the little moments that she cherish’s most and her work highlights those subtle glances, gentle touches, and memories both big and small that turn into heirlooms.
Caitlin’s work has taken her around the world, from Paris Fashion Week to love stories across the country, yet her favorite photos remain the moments of queer joy and love found in her own community. Every image Caitlin captures is rooted in the belief that photography is more than art, it’s a celebration of being seen, known, and loved. She’s just as passionate about passing on her love for this craft as she is about creating it, teaching others to slow down, observe the details, and find magic in everyday moments.
