Do I have to pitch a friend, or can I just come watch?
You do not have to present! We need a lively audience to cheer on the presenters, ask fun questions, and potentially find a match. Just grab an Audience Member ticket and come ready to mingle.
What should my presentation look like?
Keep it light, funny, and supportive! Think of it as a hype-slideshow celebrating your friend’s best qualities, funniest quirks, and what makes them a catch.
Can I pitch myself?
While the event is designed for friends to hype each other up, we love self-love! If you want to pitch yourself, just secure a Pitcher & Pitchee ticket and list yourself for both roles
What kind of queer singles will be there?
This event is open to the entire LGBTQ+ spectrum! Our signup form asks who the "pitchee" is hoping to meet so we can help facilitate great connections for everyone in the room.
Are allies welcome?
Yes! While the focus of the event is to celebrate and connect the LGBTQ+ community, allies are more than welcome to join the audience to cheer everyone on, or to take the stage and pitch their queer friends.
Will my friend have to speak?
Only if they want to! There will be a quick 1-2 minute Q&A from the audience, but if your friend is shy, they can simply sit back, look pretty, and let you do all the talking.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for both the pitcher & pitchee?
Yes, everyone participating in the event must have their own ticket.
